Glazed Fresh Peach Pie
It’s peach season! Bottled peaches, peach jam, peach cobbler, and…peach pie. Take a seat out on your back porch at the end of the day and watch the sunset with a refreshing plate of fresh peach pie and a splattering of whipped cream on top. Can things get any better than this? Well, probably. But this is a dessert that makes life stop for a while as you enjoy good food and good people.
Glazed Fresh Peach Pie

Ingredients
- 1 cup Sugar
- 3 T Cornstarch
- 1 cup Water
- Pinch Salt
- 3 drops Yellow Food Coloring (optional)
- 3 T Peach Jello
- 2 T Butter
- 2 cups Sliced Fresh Peaches
- 1 Baked Pie Shell
Instructions
Stir cornstarch into sugar. Add water and cook until thick. Add a pinch of salt and about three drops of yellow food color for color. While hot, sprinkle peach jello into mixture. Add butter. Stir well.
Cool well. Stir in peaches. Pour into baked pie shell.
Chill to set filling.
Serve with whipped cream.
