Dyeing eggs is a tradition for my family every year for Easter. I grew up using those fizzy tablets in the egg dyeing kits. While they work just fine, recently I’ve been wanting my eggs to be bright and vibrant. Not to mention I’ve wanted a larger selection of colors.
So, how should I go about accomplishing this? I did a little research and found that if I use Wilton food coloring gels (which we carry in our store), I can get any color I want and I can get my eggs to be as vibrant as I want. And it’s really very much the same as using those fizzy tablets.
