Quick Basic Pizza Dough
Ingredients
3/4c Warm Water (not hot)
1tsp Yeast
2c pizza flour (semolina)
1 1/2 tsp salt
Directions
In a mixing bowl add all ingredients. Knead for 4 minutes. If the dough is too sticky add more flour so that it forms a soft ball.
For a thin crust pizza use right away.
For a softer crust pizza let the dough rise for 30 minutes. (Covered)
The dough can be stored in the fridge for 3 days. Let it rise 30 minutes before using.
The dough can be frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw for 12 hours before using.
Baking is preferable using a pizza stone. Heat oven to 500F. Place semolina flour down to roll out the dough. Top with sauce and toppings and bake for 5-10 minutes depending on the thickness of the crust.
